Our Pastor
Dr. Roy L. Carter
New Life
Christian Fellowship
During these years, Pastor Carter served as music director at Morning Star Tabernacle COGIC, as well as assisted
at many other churches in the Racine area.

In 2001, God gave a new assignment.  On the first Sunday of January, the first service was held at New Life
Christian Fellowship, a Full Gospel Baptist Church Fellowship affiliate, under the leading of Pastor Carter.
Pastor/Teacher Roy L. Carter never gave thought that as a child/teen/young
adult, he was being groomed for his present walk in the Lord’s army as senior
pastor.

Growing up the second of five children to pastoring parents, Pastor Carter has
served in just about every position within the local church.  He has served
faithfully as deacon, musician, music director, Sunday school teacher,
evangelists, exhorter, praise and worship leader, as well as in several
administrative positions, including secretary, administrative assistant, and
treasurer.

After having been ordained in 1989, Pastor Carter served as Executive Pastor
at Gospel Assembly Church, under the leadership of his mother.  Gospel
Assembly started out as a non-denominational church, but later became a Full
Gospel Baptist Church affiliate.
Since that time, Carter has worked to follow the direction of God
in educating the people of God.

Teaching what he calls practical holy living, he travels across the
country teaching, lecturing, preaching the word of God in a
distinct way.  God has worked many miracles at the hand of
Pastor Carter.

Pastor/Teacher Carter graduated with a Bachelor of Science
degree in computer technology from Control Data Institute in
1985.  He earned his Master of Theology degree from
Andersonville Theological Seminary in 2010 and returned to
Andersonville, completing his Doctorate of Theology degree in
2012.
